Migration Queensland has closed new 2025–26 ROIs. Previous criteria must not be treated as active new-year policy until opening dates, lists and full settings are published.

190 generally requires living and eligible employment in Queensland for at least nine months.
491 generally requires at least six months living and working in designated regional Queensland.
Each category has its own occupation, qualification, experience and graduation-timing rules.
Construction responds to shortage needs; the small-business pathway is 491-only with strict transitional dates.
