Migration Tasmania's page updated on 11 September confirms a new ROI round on 10 September 2026. It issued 40 subclass 190 invitations to apply for nomination (6 Gold and 34 Green) and 26 subclass 491 invitations (3 Gold and 23 further invitations). An invitation to apply for state nomination is neither nomination approval nor visa grant.

Subclass 190 selection reached beyond Gold in this round, including 34 Green invitations. The release does not break down occupations, location or individual pathways. The numbers do not establish the invitation prospects of any occupation or applicant.
ROI scores are not federal EOI points
The 502 and 74 figures are Tasmania ROI priority scores, not SkillSelect EOI points. The separate three-month rolling assessment reference scores on the page are 536 for 190 and 86 for 491; these are not this round's invitation scores. Claimed priority attributes must be evidenced, and unverified or deliberately inflated claims can jeopardise a nomination application.
